How we use AI

Asega uses AI tools to help with behind-the-scenes tasks such as drafting and organizing website content, translating between English and Spanish, and handling routine administrative work. AI helps us work faster and respond sooner.

People are always in charge

AI never acts as your accountant or tax preparer, and it never makes decisions about your taxes or your books. Every piece of tax and accounting content is reviewed by a person before it's published or acted on. Your actual work — your bookkeeping, your tax return, the advice for your situation — is done and reviewed by us, not by a machine.

Our review standard

Before website material is published, we check it for accuracy, clarity, tone, and consistency with the services we actually provide. AI-generated suggestions are treated as drafts, not as facts. Tax rules, deadlines, and client-specific conclusions are verified by a qualified person using the appropriate source information.

Your information

We do not put sensitive client information into general AI tools. Sensitive documents are handled only through a vetted secure portal.
